The last Shabbat

This is the last Shabbat post. Usually I write my Shabbat post way before Shabbat and merely have it automatically post.  But I am going to try to unplug for Shabbat in a real way.  In this new social media world we who are online and connected all the time have often forgotten that it is okay to breathe. That is what God intended as God is in our breath!  God gave us our very breath, holy spirit to fill the first human being and all human beings subsequently.  So I wish you a Shabbat Shalom.  A day of breathing, meditation and family.   I wish you peace.   Join in the Jewish world the Shabbat of March 4-5 which is Unplugged Shabbat. A challenge to everyone to unplug.  Join me.  I am starting a month ahead to make it my Shabbat habit!  So Practice peace.  See ya’ on Sunday.

  1. I hope your blog readers will join you in unplugging and partake in the the Sabbath Manifesto’s 2nd annual National Day of Unplugging, 2011 from sundown March 4 to sundown March 5: http://www.sabbathmanifesto.org/unplug.

By registering people will receive the program guides we’ve put together to help people start thinking of ways they can unplug and interpret the 10 principles:
